Building Blocks is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving our community through promoting the reuse of building materials and funding community development. We accept both monetary gifts and donations of new and gently used building supplies.

We then sell those materials to the public, and send the proceeds directly to the Link Centre to fund ongoing community development.

When you give, you’re helping keep community programs, gatherings, and services going strong for your neighbors.

How can you help Building Blocks and the Link Centre?

  • Donate new and gently used building supplies

We accept many kinds of donations and offer limited pick-up in Lee County, Mississippi.

Please describe your items using the form below and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Examples of Items Building Blocks can use:

  • Molding (crown, trim, quarter round, etc.)
  • Hardware (door pulls, hinges, latches, etc.)
  • Furniture
  • Plumbing materials
  • Lighting fixtures*
  • Ceiling fans*
  • Appliances*
  • Cabinets
  • Paint and painting supplies
  • Yard and garden items
  • Flooring and carpet remnants
  • Doors, doorknobs, and locks
  • Windows, screens, window blinds (no faded, warped or broken blinds)
  • Power tools*

Building Blocks cannot take broken appliances or mattresses.

*These items must be working.
